At 16, over two Romeo y Juliettas brought straight from Cuba, Berk had a conversation that changed everything. A successful entrepreneur across the table told stories from South America — and in the slow burn of that evening, ambition took on a new shape.
Before Rêverie, Berk built businesses from age 13, helped take a startup to a $2.5M VC-backed exit, and hosted a podcast interviewing figures like Geoff Ralston, former president of Y Combinator, alongside early investors in Facebook, Pinterest, Lyft, and Palantir. He earned his sommelier certification through Tobacconist University and interviewed its founder, Jorge Armenteros — the man behind Episode 01.
He started Rêverie because he believes cigars are one of the last things that force us to slow down — and in that slowness, something true is found.
